Emily Ball at Seawhite – Contemprary Art School
Emily Ball at Seawhite is a contemporary art school based in the south of England. Established in 2006, the school offers a variety of art courses that encourage alternative methods to drawing and painting. The team of tutors at the school are all award-winning artists in their own right and generously share their knowledge and passion for painting and drawing.
The school offers a comprehensive program of courses with the aim to demystify the process of making paintings, help students find their own language of paint, and provide the creative motivation needed to progress as an artist. The clay studio

Sarah Flack is a versatile artist with a Master of Arts degree. She has a wide range of experience in disciplines and mediums, including fine art, mechanical drawing, and fashion design. Sarah studied HND in Fine Art at Hastings College, and from there went straight to Camberwell College of Art to gain an MA in Printmaking, while simultaneously completing an Artist in Residence at Intaglio Printmaker, London.
In addition to her own artistic journey, Sarah also offers Sussex art classes and workshops in Bexhill, Hastings, or Rye, East Sussex. These classes are suitable for beginners to those more advanced. She is passionate and dedicated to working to a high standard on both commissions and her own personal artistic journey.

Paul Clark is a professional artist and published author who has been teaching watercolour painting and drawing techniques to adult learners for over 25 years. He has taught art at Bexhill and Claverham Community College, as well as running his own successful art school in Eastbourne. His ethos on teaching is that students learn better when working in a happy and relaxed atmosphere, so all his classes are open and fun, with a great emphasis on all artistic techniques being demonstrated.
In 2017, Paul produced his first art book ‘Watercolour – Techniques and Tutorials for the Complete Beginner’. Published by The Guild of Master Craftsman, the book is available from the studio or online from Amazon.
Paul Clark also offers free online demonstrations and tutorials. He provides drawing templates for use with his YouTube tutorials. Not every tutorial has a drawing template as these should be easy enough for you to draw.
